Our Staff

Our staff are highly trained, qualified professionals, committed to delivering quality programmes to the children and families in our care. Our Early Years Practitioners are key to the success of our centre:

  • Yvonne Uí Shúilleabháin, Stiúrthóir

Yvonne is the owner manager of Naíonra na nÓg since 2000. She is a mother of four and a passionate advocate for the Early Years. Yvonne holds an MA in Childhood and Adolescent Studies and a BA in Early Childhood Practice. She also has a qualification from University of Limerick in Leadership and Inclusion in the Early Years and is the inclusion officer for the service. Her vision for Naíonra na nÓg and Once Upon A Time Montessori is to provide the highest quality of education and care for the children and families using the service. She has surrounded herself with a team of highly qualified, experienced Early Years teachers thus leading to the success of Naíonra na nÓg and Once Upon a Time Montessori. Naíonra na nÓg has grown from strength to strength from humble beginnings to a state of the art school with five spacious classrooms, a sensory room, two sports halls, an outdoor classroom and an enclosed garden space. Yvonne is at all times available to talk to parents and answer any questions they may have regarding any matter relating to the Early Years.

Our staff share common qualities, a respect for the children’s desire to learn, explore and develop, and their ability to develop quality programmes and experiences for the children. The educator child ratio will be as per Early Years Services Regulations 2016.
